週末の小旅行：テキサス型プール
Anyone in Houston looking for a quick getaway, our family just checked out the Marriott Marquis in downtown Houston. I have to say, the price is a little bit pricey in my opinion and they charged extra for over 2 occupants (blah). Additionally, they did not have a dining room open for breakfast so we ended up walking over to the Phoenician Market for brunch (good pizza and chicken sandwiches). The big draw at this hotel is the Texas shaped pool where guests can hop into a tube and float along the lazy river ‘around Texas’. Take a pit stop at the clear edge overlooking Discovery Green and beware that folks below can look up and see you through the see through glass! For a quick family getaway, it’s overall a thumbs up.
ヒューストンでちょっとした旅行を探している人に必見！家族一家でヒューストンのダウンタウンにあるマリオット マーキスへ旅行に行きました。私個人の意見としては、値段は少し高めであり、2人以上の使用者には追加料金が発生しました（ガッカリです）。さらに、ホテルには朝食用のダイニング ルームが無いため、ブランチ (おいしいピザとチキン サンドイッチ) を買いにフェニキア マーケットまで歩いて行きました。このホテルの一番の魅力は、ホテルゲストがテキサスの形をしたプールで浮き輪に乗り「テキサス周辺」を楽しむ流れるプールです。ろすことのできる透明になっている端からディスカバリー グリーンを見下ろすことができます。下にいる人達がシースルーになっているガラスから見上げることが出来るので注意してくださいね。ちょっとした家族旅行をご希望の方にはおススメのスポットです。
